With a client and now dear friend who is fast approaching 5000 FaceBook “acquaintances” (get real, their not friends), I was glad to receive this 6/2010 released book from my eldest sister for Christmas 2010, amongst the Gitomer collection she bought me.
Passing my carpenter’s pants pocket test, this small book fits to easily carry along on daily travels. The book gives great advice on how to “demystify social media”. Incredibly valuable were the author’s stories about major brands triumphs and tribulations in using social media. On page 43, she gave a story that I had been using in one of my local presentations on Strategic Savings, but her data offering helped make my presentation more accurate.
I also valued her quality assurance philosophy about the importance of measuring your social media usage results. Great common sense teaching suggesting to non-techies out there how to do inexpensive in-house video with the insightful and memorable directions of when using pocket cams, “zoom with your feet”.
Oh and let’s face it, this website video is powerful enough to make the most staunch of loyal knights to want the Muse to do one like it.
