Approximately one year ago in Indianapolis, I worked with a colleague to present a series of free seminars on creative cash flow. For approximately four months, we shared an overview to small business owners about collaborative consumption. The basic premise of Strategic Savings Seminars were that everyday we are consuming products for which we can gain cash thank yous from the companies from whom we purchase. Should you not believe me, please feel free to watch my illustrative “Business Bob” brief.
OR Should you be unfamiliar with the marketing concept you’re welcome to watch my “Multi-Tasking Martha”message in front of a group of female professionals.
[And no comments on how much furrier and heavier I was back then
] Should you want to take advantage of this consolidated and easy to use affiliated marketing program, please contact collaborative consumption expert, JoAnne McMahon, for the most current program information. She can be tagged on Twitter. But I digress with a warm referral.
The point was business owners can find “free money” or harvest “creative cashflow” from their own expenditures. This extra income stream from could then be reinvested in business objectives, purchasing needed equipment or investing superior marketing methods. Now that system makes the assumption you are actually doing some form of spending. Just a secret, you will never grow your business if you never spend any money. The key is spending it in the right places.
We’ve all met business owners that pridefully say they spend NO MONEY at all. Therefore, we need to look for other income considerations. Today “Creative Cashflow might be used to address your sales process. If you are spending months to earn a client due to their buying process, then perhaps you are wasting time and energy in the wrong prospects. Serving clients in business is different than letting them run your business or control your revenue generation.
Business today is about carefully investigating who CAN and IS READY to buy from you today without having to jump through tons of hoops. You want to sell to VITO and ind a group of those people and invest all your time and energy into perfecting your sales process. Sure you can still sell to those folks who need more time, but you don’t put all your business revenue eggs in those baskets because in doing so you are limiting every other project in your business that requires money to accomplish it. Diversify who you sell to in order to create a income system.
